During this last year Ribeye has established new manufacturing
facilities in Greece and South Africa.
The result is that Ribeye can now offer for 2002 a full range
of product based on their Playtime and Sports hulls, recognised
as being top of their class in terms of sea-handling and performance,
at prices that were not achievable previously.
Ribeye can now offer quality production models, from 2.8m
to 10.0m, at the keenest prices.
With the addition of Ribeye Greece and Ribeye South Africa,
Ribeye UK is able to draw on many skills to complement its
design team.
The moulded decks of the entire range have been redesigned
to accept a new patented deck "rail system", which
allows console and seating options, available from Ribeye,
to be fitted very simply. This has a tremendous advantage
over other product ranges because it enables weight distribution
to be altered so easily, which is essential to achieve optimum
boat handling and performance. This option is of tremendous
importance, given the huge difference in engine weights. The
rail system also enables a great versatility in styling options.
Ribeye has a very comprehensive range of seating and consoles
to choose from. Sunbathing cushions can be simply installed
adding to the boat's Mediterranean look.
The 2002 product range is unveiled at Southampton Boat Show,
which will coincide with Yamaha's release of new engines pinnacled
by the 225 four stroke. Ribeye's new 8m stepped hull is powered
by this engine at the SIBS and can be tried and tested on
Berth 30.
The 2002 Ribeye range has been put together with the total
co-operation of Yamaha and is available exclusively through
the Yamaha UK and European dealership network.
