This year Ribeye have transferred all production of the newly
designed Ribeye/Yamaha leisure range to Ribeye South Africa.
This has made available to the European market a highly comprehensive
range of quality-built RIBs at prices not previously achievable.
This range, exclusive to Yamaha Dealerships, was released
successfully at the Southampton Boat Show 2001.
With its renowned design and development facility Ribtec
will now become the design centre for the Ribeye Group and
will manufacture bespoke models for both companies. This will
encompass the larger leisure products and inboard diesels,
in addition to its excellent range of super yacht tenders
and commercial products. Ribtec are now in a position to concentrate
fully on these specialist sectors.
Ribeye's branding and marketing, which are now becoming recognised
worldwide, coupled with Ribtec's design and manufacturing
reputation, needs only one more ingredient to guarantee success
around the world. That ingredient is already there - Ribeye's
unique association with Yamaha.
