Ribeye Boats & Tenders wins The Queen’s Award for Enterprise
Ribeye Boats are proud to announce that Her Majesty The Queen has approved the Prime Minister’s recommendation that Ribeye Boats and Tenders should receive a Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the International Trade category as a result of its exponential growth and contribution to international trade over the last three years.
James Burroughs, Managing Director says: “We are immensely proud to be recognised for the Queen’s Award. Our business has grown as a result of the team’s sheer hard work and determination to ensure we manufacture boats and tenders that are world-class. We have grown from a small family business to a world-renowned boat builder, and I couldn’t be more excited for the future”.
Now in its 55th year, the Queen’s Award for Enterprise are the most prestigious business awards in the country.
The presentation of the award will be made by Her Majesty the Queen’s Lord-Lieutenant for Devon, David Fursdon, at Ribeye’s headquarters in Dartmouth. The team are hopeful that a reception at Buckingham Palace held by HRH the Queen and other senior members of the Royal Household to celebrate the award will still go ahead as planned later in the year.
