The Second Generation
James has been one of the fundamental players that has grown Ribeye into what it is known for today. James’ strategic vision has taken Ribeye from a UK pleasure boat company, to a global leader in the design and manufacture of luxury leisure RIBs and superyacht tenders. Having spent 15 years in London working in IT, James has combined his experience with his love for luxury craft.
Twin brother to Ross, Danny has been working hard and playing even harder on Ribeyes his entire life. As a youngster, his first part-time job was to prepare Ribeyes prior to handover as well as conducting water tests to ensure the boats work perfectly. Now heading up the Operations arm of the company, his intrinsic knowledge of all areas of the business is fundamental to Ribeye’s industry-leading service and delivery.
Ella grew up in Dartmouth and was aboard the ceremonial launch of the first ever Ribeye in 1998. Eldest daughter of founder Charles Chivers, her eye for detail and finish is ingrained in Ribeye’s DNA. Following a Business Degree at Bath University and 10 year career in London, Ella’s branding strategy has gone against the grain in what was a cottage industry spurring the popularity of the Ribeye brand.
Like his brother, Ross has been involved with Ribeye his entire life. He has spent more hours boating in a Ribeye than anyone else in the world. To date, Ribeye has been Ross' life work and his number one goal day-to-day is to continue to grow and keep Ribeye at the forefront of the Premium Leisure and Superyacht Tender market.
