Full Time Permanent Technical Sales Engineer
For over 25 years, Ribeye Boats has built a global reputation for excellence in designing, engineering, and manufacturing premium RIBs and superyacht tenders. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a passionate and organized Technical Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team.
Role Overview:
As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our Superyacht clients throughout their Ribeye journey. You will work closely with the Sales Enablement Team, collaborating with the sales, design, and engineering departments to create detailed client proposals. This role requires managing highly technical and often confidential information, producing high-quality outputs for review by Yacht Owners, Management Companies, Captains, and Engineering Teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop 2D and 3D Garage Fitment plans.
- Conduct Weight Analysis, creating bespoke calculations to establish LCG and ensure tender suitability for crane/davit SWL.
- Produce 2D and 3D General Arrangements, tailoring initial sales models to meet custom configurations.
- Design and produce detailed drawings to manufacture chocks (boat storage supports).
- Compile comprehensive Engineering Reports detailing custom requirements for payment milestones.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure the latest 3D models are utilized for fitment.
- Foster a positive work environment by promoting organizational effectiveness, clear communication, and safe practices.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Degree in Design/Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in Rhino 3D and SolidWorks modelling software.
- Exceptional presentation and documentation skills.
- Strong time-management abilities and familiarity with time reporting.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating flexibility and the ability to multitask effectively.
- A collaborative team player with strong communication skills and active listening capabilities, capable of establishing credibility with colleagues.

Schedule:
Day shift: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Lunch break: 1:00 PM – 1:30 PM
Ability to Commute/Relocate:

Preferred: 2 years of industry experience

With more demand than ever for custom boats, Ribeye is recruiting for new Marine Technician to join their team of dedicated enthusiasts for the build of their award-winning luxury leisure RIBs and Superyacht Tenders.
Nature of the role
You will be required to work within our busy Fit Out department as a Marine Technician to assist the Fit-Out team with the technical aspects of the build. This could include:
- Outboard and inboard engine installation and alignment.
- Steering systems.
- Installing electronics and navigation equipment.
- Understanding wiring diagrams to complete intricate wiring systems.
- Laying Teak Decks.
- Installation of custom equipment.
- Ability to rig A, S & Prime series to a high standard.
- Ability to rig Yacht Tenders to a high standard.
Skills
- Industry experience required.
- Experience of problem solving and first fixes.
- Ability to multi-task and go from one project to the next in quick succession.
- Electrical experience.
- A good work ethic.
- A high level of pride in the standard of work.
- Ability to work in a team to tight deadlines.
- Understanding of stock control.
