Project Manager

Ribeye Boats are currently looking for a Project Manager to join our growing company. With exponential growth and more demand for custom tender builds, Ribeye Boats requires someone who can manage and implement the build process for custom projects whilst also being flexible and hands-on when required.

Skills required:

  • Must have previous Maritime experience
  • Must have previous Project Management experience
  • Production floor experience preferred but not essential
  • Must be competent with full Project Management Software and reporting tools i.e. status reporting, risks and issues escalation, milestone reporting
  • Be comfortable in giving clear instruction and direction to a team of boat builders.
  • Quality Management experience is essential

Responsibilities:

  • Managing numerous projects through each stage of the project lifecycle.
  • Managing the teams working on the projects and identifying resources
  • Ensure that all quality checks have been actioned and
  • Clear communication between departments to ensure all project milestones are achieved.
  • Managing the supply chain to ensure all materials required are on-site when needed. Identify materials required then, plan purchase in a timely way in conjunction with purchasing

GRP Laminator

Our growing team at Ribeye Boats in Dartmouth require skilled GRP/composite laminators. We are an established boat builder in luxury leisure RIBs and Superyacht Tenders involved in a diverse selection of projects.

Interesting and varied work with competitive rates of pay.

Production of hull, deck and small mouldings. Involving infusion, wet and hand lay methods.

Other duties, from time to time, may include the development and manufacture of new moulds, surface finishing, general workshop duties and contributing to the assembly of the craft.

Attributes to include punctuality, a good work ethic, a high level of pride in the standard of work, ability to work in a team to tight deadlines and a willingness to learn.

Short or long term positions available and immediate or delayed start to suit.

  • Ensuring all parts are made in line with the drawings and specifications to ISO standards
