We’re currently recruiting for the very best talent in the marine industry to join our growing team of dedicated enthusiasts for the fit-out of our award-winning luxury leisure RIBs and Superyacht Tenders.

All levels of experience considered and on the job training included.

Experience with outboard and inboard engines, steering systems, electronics, and navigation equipment is preferred.

Attributes to include:

• A high level of pride in your standard of work
• Ability to work in a team to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment and show a willingness to learn
• Attention to detail
• Happy to be flexible with working hours to ensure the job gets done (additional hours paid for!)

With the exponential growth and more demand for custom tender builds, Ribeye Boats requires someone who can manage the build process for custom projects whilst also being flexible and hands-on.

Creating exciting opportunities and investing in the future of the company and its workforce remains at the forefront of our goal as a luxury leader in the marine industry. Ribeye is looking for skilled Boat Builders to join the composite team in a diverse selection of projects at their Dartmouth headquarters.

Nature of the role:

You will be required to help lead and work within our busy GRP department primarily with works including:

  • Production of hull, deck, and small mouldings, involving the infusion
  • Wet and hand lay methods
  • Abiding by technical drawings and instructions
  • Development and manufacture of new moulds
  • General workshop duties
  • Contributing to the assembly of the craft
  • Leading a team

Skills:

  • Industry experience preferred
  • Experience with infusion desirable
  • Managing a team

Salary:

  • Competitive salary dependent on experience

GRP Finisher

We have yacht tenders in service on some of the most iconic fleets in the world and have many more exciting projects in build for 2021 and beyond. Ribeye is looking for skilled GRP Finishers to join the composite team in a diverse selection of projects at their Dartmouth headquarters.

Nature of the role:

You will be required to work within our busy GRP department on works including:

  • Polishing
  • Filling and fairing
  • Gel and Fibreglass repairs
  • Mould movements
  • Removal of imperfections
  • Prepping jobs for spraying
  • General workshop duties

Skills:

  • Experience in gel application preferred
  • Previous knowledge of GRP desirable but not essential

Salary:

  • Competitive rate dependent on experience
